The Met Office issued the yellow weather warning for Glasgow
Glasgow could be blanketed by snow this weekend after the Met Office issued it's latest weather warning.
Forecasters explained: "Snow and ice will make travelling difficult across central and southern Scotland during Sunday evening, overnight and into Monday morning."The latest warning follows days of chilly weather, with temperatures dipping below zero across the city and beyond. Why is there a yellow weather warning for Glasgow? On their website the Met Office explain: "An area of wintry showers will move into Angus and Tayside later Saturday and spread southwest overnight to affect more Central areas. This will then clear southwards and decay but showers will likely affect the southeast of Scotland through Sunday morning.
