GLASGOW is set to mark Armed Forces Day with a march past the city’s Cenotaph.
The event will begin at around 11am on Saturday, June 29 with a parade leaving from Holland Street to George Square.
Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren will be joined by senior military including Lieutenant Commander Morgan McDonald of the Navy, Brigadier Gilliam Wilkinson of the army and Captain Andrew Tait of the RAF.Baroness Goldie, Minister of State for Defence in the House of Lords, will also be in attendance.
