Part of a busy Glasgow motorway was closed to traffic after a boat was abandoned in the middle of the road.
Drivers were forced to swerve to avoid the vehicle after it was deserted on the Kingston Bridge on the M8. Lane one of the motorway had to be closed around 12.44pm on Monday as emergency services removed it.
Police were able to remove the boat, which had come off a trailer, before reopening the road around 1pm. Road Policing Scotland urge drivers to ensure any trailers are secure before they set off on their journey.RPS released a warning on social media. A Traffic Scotland representative said: “Lane one blocked Westbound on the Kingston Bridge due to an abandoned boat.
