The former champion cyclist dined at India Quay Restaurant in Finnieston on Wednesday evening before the ten-day event kicks off on Thursday, August 3.
Hoy, 47, happily posed for a photo with staff, who said they were"honoured" to have him dine with them. Around 8000 elite and amateur cyclists from more than 120 countries will come together to compete in numerous tournaments.
