A MAN who gave cops false details had been released from custody before they realised.
On advising him of his arrest, which was in relation to a matter in which a not-guilty plea was accepted, he began tensing his arms.
He was put in fast straps before being handcuffed. After being taken into custody, he was released on an undertaking.He told cops he was Liam Thomas, born in 1993. He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court for sentencing after previously admitting to attempting to pervert the course of justice as well as restricting, obstructing and hindering cops by struggling violently with them.It was revealed that Thomas is currently on a community payback order with unpaid work hours still outstanding.
