Vishal Sharma, 28, had been going to the supermarket at around 7.45pm on Tuesday, October 17, when he was subject to a 'horrifying and unprovoked' attack by around 20 youths in the Cairnhill Circus area of the city.
A Glasgow man has been left unable to sleep after he was attacked by a gang of youths in the Crookston area of the city.
Describing the terrifying experience, Vishal told Glasgow Live: "I had just left my house and was walking towards Paisley Road West when I spotted a group of around 20 teenagers standing near Crookston Bus Stop. I needed to get past they but they didn't move so I tried to go to the side where there was a gap.
"They kept surrounding me like a swarm of bee's and hitting me from all directions. I was scared they were going to seriously hurt me and I was just desperate to get away I didn't even fight back." Vishal says that he managed to call the police after calming down. He said that they arrived quickly and took his statement.
He continued: "I've not been able to sleep. I just kept thinking "what did I do?" to deserve being attacked.
