Procurator fiscal Laura Martin said: “Police had reason to stop the accused’s vehicle. Upon approaching the vehicle, the police detected a strong smell of cannabis.A total of £530 in mixed notes was found as well as 21 snap bags of cannabis.Wahab, of Govan, was cautioned and charged and made no reply.His lawyer said: “He wasn’t a drug dealer as he would consider. He was buying drugs and when buying them, he would sell some to a friend or someone he would know.
“It would appear this is the last thing he needs to be involved in as he’s got a responsible job. There are no matters outstanding and he’s keen to put this behind him.”
