Four objections to the licence application were received by Glasgow City Council but the licensing committee decided to give the bid the green light.
The owner of a Glasgow flat where a tenant ‘let off fireworks out the window’ has been granted a short-term licence despite objections from neighbours.
But Glasgow City Flats, which manages the property on behalf of the owner, said the incident had occurred over four years ago and the person was removed within two days. The objector added: “Short-term lets increase the risk of anti-social behaviour and damage to communal areas.”
