Elfingrove is back and bigger than ever
The largest ice rink in the UK has reportedly opened in Glasgow ahead of the Christmas season at the Elfingrove winter festival.
As well as having a huge ice rink, the event will also include the UK's first ever 'snow wheel'. A ride will allow visitors to gaze at Glasgow's own winter wonderland from a height. There are also 'Skate with Santa' sessions where little ones can meet Santa and his elves on the ice, as well as quiet sessions for autistic people and anyone with special or complex needs.
Creator of Elfingrove and itison CEO Oli Norman, said: "It takes a team of over 150 people to make Elfingrove happen. In a year of doom and gloom our mission is to light up our home city and bring joy, and we are so excited to do that with Elfingrove.
