SEVEN eco-conscious Southside businesses have teamed up to stage the area’s first ‘fair fashion’ festival this weekend.

The free-to-attend programme, funded by Glasgow Climate Action Hub, includes opportunities to upcycle a garment, make a tote bag, watch sustainable fashionApparel Xchange, BAM Glasgow, BAWN Textiles, Merry-Go-Round, Rags to Riches, Seamster Vintage and Second Cashmere are all based within a five-minute walk in and around Nithsdale Street, Nithsdale Road and Pollokshaws Road.

“Fair Fashion Festival is the first of many events we will be running in our sustainable fashion quarter.”
