Police were called to Hayburn Street at its junction with Dumbarton Road in Partick on Saturday afternoon. The alarm was raised at around 1.15pm following reports of a three-vehicle smash.

At the scene officers found two cars and a moped that were reportedly involved in a collision. Police failed to provide information on the man age, the nature of his injuries and current medical condition. No other injuries have been reported. One woman will be the subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal for alleged road traffic offences.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman told Glasgow Live: "At around 1.15 pm on Saturday, September 17 police were called to a three vehicle, two cars and a moped, road crash on Hayburn Street at its junction with Dumbarton Road, Glasgow. One man, the moped rider, has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
