Excited holidaymakers claim they were queueing from the car park to the main terminal as hundreds tried to make their way through the airport this morning.
Passengers travelling from Glasgow Airport have been left waiting for hours in queues as they try to check-in for their summer holiday this morning, Friday July 5.
He said: "We arrived at 5.10am and as soon as we got to the terminal there was a queue of around 700 people which ended in the car park. Kevin added: "Time went by and then we were told by a member of staff we should have been at the airport three hours before our flight and it was our fault if we missed it.British Airways check-in counters for domestic flights are closed 45 minutes before departure. Check-in counters for international flights are closed 50 minutes before departure.
