We've never been so outraged in our life! A Netflix survey named the Glasgow accent as being the 'least sexy' in Scotland, but we reckon they just can't keep up with the patter!
The outrageous results came courtesy of Netflix, with the streaming giant commissioning a survey to find out what the "sexiest" accents in the UK and Ireland are ahead of the premiere of dating show Love is Blind UK.
And we're stunned to say that Glasgow didn't come out on top and was deemed the "least sexy" accent in Scotland. 47 per cent of people surveyed called it unattractive, it placing above only the Birmingham, Essex, and Geordie accents. On the other hand, Glasgow accents are known for their fast pace - so we'll argue maybe we just talk too fast for them to catch up! Other findings from the survey include that 49 per cent of people think regional accents are attractive, while eight per cent don’t think they are attractive at all. Meanwhile, 59 per cent revealed that they have been attracted to somebody purely because of their accent, while 81 per cent admit they would put up with an irritating accent if the person was physically attractive.
