This year’s supernatural horror film adaptation is an adaptation of the popular 1983 novel of the same name by horror master King. The story follows a husband and wife who move with their young son and daughter to a new home in Maine. After the accidental death of their daughter soon after settling in, the grieving father exhumes her and buries her in a burial ground known to bring loved ones back from the dead—an act that dooms the family.
This deluxe edition comes jam-packed with features, including the complete soundtrack by Young as a deluxe double LP featuring a 180-gram “Church” Colored Vinyl, new artwork by Christopher Shy, composer liner notes, old-style gatefold jackets and 11”X11” printed inserts. was released in April, and grossed a worldwide total of $112.4 million.
