THERE are no restrictions to freedom of speech or holding demonstrations as long as police are given five days’ notice of the event, said Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador. He, however, said the protesters must abide by the Peaceful Assembly Act that has been amended to make it easier for the people to be heard.
