NEW: Attorney representing Giuliani associate Lev Parnas asks that materials seized during his client’s arrest be released to the House committees leading the impeachment inquiry.

An attorney representing Rudy Giuliani's indicted associate, Lev Parnas, asked that materials seized during his client’s arrest be released to the House committees leading the impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump.

"We think a superseding indictment is likely," Assistant U.S. Attorney Douglas Zolkind said, referring to the case against Parnas and his associate Igor Fruman, adding any additional charges would be brought ahead of a trial but did not specify who the target of those charges would be. The material submitted to the committee includes audio, video and photos that include Giuliani and Trump. It was unclear what the content depicts and the committees only began accessing the material last week.

So far, Parnas is the only defendant in the New York case to cooperate with the House Intelligence committee’s investigation.
