U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman suffered a stroke in the days leading up to the Pennsylvania's primary election, which he handily won. His wife was interviewed Monday by CNN.

Democratic U.S. Senate candidate John Fetterman has been out of the hospital for a couple of weeks, but according to his wife Gisele, it may still be a while before we see him back on the campaign trail.
“I think he deserves a month break to come back as strong as ever,” she told CNN. “This is going to be a tough race and a really important race. I want him to be fully ready for it.” “As my doctor said, I should have taken my health more seriously. The stroke I suffered on May 13 didn’t come out of nowhere,” Fetterman said on Friday. He said he had avoided going to the doctor, despite not feeling well.
