”News broke last month that he and Plaza have a little one on the way, due in the fall.
“It was a beautiful surprise after an emotional year,” a source told People in April, referencing the January 2025 suicide of Plaza’s husband, Jeff Baena. The insider added that the “Parks and Recreation” alum and Abbott felt “very blessed” to be starting a family.
“There is a baby inside of me right now,” she said at the time. “I’ve always wanted to see what that’s all about, you know? While the comedian continued discussing her pregnancy during her “Kevin” press tour, she has yet to give any insight into her romance with Abbott. They co-starred in “Danny and the Deep Blue Sea” Off-Broadway in 2023 — and met filming “Black Bear” three years prior.
