Both rescues took place Saturday off Atlantic County.
The U.S. Coast guard saved four people in two separate rescues on Saturday off the coast of Brigantine, including one in which two girls were in distress, authorities said.
Brigantine police alerted the Coast Guard who quickly dispatched a 29-foot response boat and rescued the girls eight minutes later.
