Meena Kumar was abandoned in a basket as a baby – and now spends her free time finding loving homes for elderly stray dogs
Meena was later adopted and now lives in San Francisco, where her parents got her an eight year-old adopted rescue dog called Bambie to keep her company. Meena told NBC7: ‘It feels great to know that I’ve saved many dogs’ lives and given them another chance to enjoy life for their last years of living. I feel like all dogs should get a forever home just like I did.’
