Girl killed by hornets who stung 65 times after she became stuck in fence in Malaysia
AN EIGHT-YEAR-OLD girl was killed after being stung 65 times by a swarm of hornets when she became trapped on a fence and was unable to get away.
Local media reports Nur became stuck on a fence while the others fled after a dangerous swarm of hornets attacked them in Dungan, the western Malaysian state of Terengganu. Rohayu rescued her daughter before whisking both children first to Dungun Hospital at around 8pm before they were transferred to Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital.She is believed to have died around 1.30am in the early hours of the morning on the 31st of May.
Nur's grief-stricken mother said: “I don’t know how they could have gone there to play as my husband and I have reminded them time and again to avoid the area."on the 24th May after he was stung by Asian hornets on the Spanish coast, triggering a several allergic reaction which killed him.
