The public is allowed to pay their respects to Ginsburg outside the Supreme Court through 10 p.m. ET on Thursday. On Friday, Ginsburg's casket will be moved to the U.S. Capitol, where she will be the first woman in American history to lie in state.
Afterwards, a private burial service will be held next week at Arlington National Cemetery, per the Supreme Court.
