GINO D'Acampo revealed he almost died in a high-speed car crash while filming a new TV show with Gordon Ramsay.said he thought "I'm going to die" after losing control of a desert dune buggy during a challenge with Gordon and Fred Sirieix.He ploughed the vehicle into their camper van, which was parked by the race track, while making American Roadtrip for ITV.I saw the RV [recreational vehicle] coming very close, and I thought: ‘OK, that’s it.
"I was going 70 or 80 miles an hour, and when I hit it I thought: ‘This is over now. I’m going to die.’He was filming at a desert racetrack with fellow chef Gordon RamsayThe star ploughed into a camper van at up to 80 miles an hourMeanwhile, Gordon told the publication his co-stars were not the best guests, saying Fred dived on his 73-year-old mother nude.
He said: "They went through my bedroom, through [wife] Tana’s drawers and then jumped in my pool, stark naked, in front of my poor mum. "Ten years ago my mum, who smoked for 40 years, had a heart bypass and they nearly gave her another heart attack.” Turning to Fred, he added: “Then you dived on my mum – a 73-year-old Scottish woman – on the sofa, nude.”
