Lauren Graham , Scott Patterson and Sean Gunn — who played Lorelai Gilmore, Luke Danes and Kirk Gleason, respectively — posted pics to Instagram on Tuesday, teasing “something really special” is coming on Dec. 3, sending the show’s devotees into a tailspin.. “Back at #LukesDiner for something really special,” the actor wrote, urging his followers to “tune in 12/3.
All of the stars’ posts added the hashtag #WalmartPartner, which led many fans to believe the trio were promoting an upcoming Walmart commercial — and a possibly a Gilmore-themed caffeinated product. Last year, “Mean Girls” stars Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert reunited for a series of Walmart commercials promoting Black Friday deals.
“OH MY GOSH!! IS THERE GONNA BE MORE GILMORE GIRLS?!?!?! WHAT IS HAPPENING????!!!!!” someone else commented, with another exclaiming, “Omg stoppp gonna cry 😭 yeasss please let it be back !!!!!!!!”
