Philadelphia looks to bounce back at home after losing by 17 points to New York just 17 days ago. Get our expert's best bets against the spread and best Giants vs. Eagles player prop bets.

New York Giants' Cam Skattebo scores a touchdown against Philadelphia Eagles' Reed Blankenship during the first half of an NFL football game Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, in East Rutherford, N.J.A lot can change in two weeks.

At least, that’s what the Philadelphia Eagles and their fans are hoping as they get set to host the New York Giants just 17 days after losing by 17 to their division rivals on the road. That was the second of back-to-back losses for the reigning Super Bowl champs – their first consecutive losses since the end of the 2023 season. They turned things around last week with their best offensive performance of the season against a good Vikings defense. Jalen Hurts became just the third quarterback in franchise history to have a perfect passer rating. He completed 19-of-23 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns, most of which went to the star wide receiver duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. Smith in particular had a career day with 184 yards, the most of any receiver in a game this season.carry over that offensive success into this week’s game? The answer will go a long way in determining how this game plays out. With that in mind, let’s break down the matchup and discuss my Giants vs. Eagles predictions and best bets. If you want to place any of the bets discussed below, make sure you claim one of theOdds are based on the best value our experts find while writing; check lines closer to game time to ensure you get the best odds. The Eagles have not been swept by the Giants since 2007, and I don’t expect that to change this week. But it would also be too easy to expect the Eagles to come out motivated to avenge their ugly loss and win this game by multiple scores. While that is certainly possible, it ignores the fact that the Giants have been playing very well for the last month. Their win over the Eagles was not a fluke. The Giants have won two games in which they were at least six-point underdogs, and they should have won a third one last week against the Broncos. The rookie combination of QB Jaxson Dart and RB Cam Skattebo seems to have injected the franchise with some renewed energy. The biggest concern with this pick is the injury report. Three of the Giants’ most important players missed at least one practice this week – DE Brian Burns, CB Paulson Adebo and S Jevon Holland. Any of those players missing this game would be especially bad news for New York if the Eagles’ passing offense continues the success it had last week. If more than one of those guys is out, then I might flip this pick or skip it. The Eagles have some injury concerns of their own, but they will also have two key players who missed most or all of the previous matchup. All-Pro defensive tackle Jalen Carter was out last time, but he returned last week and had his best game of the season. The Eagles also lost top cornerback Quinyon Mitchell in the first half of the previous game, but he also returned last week. The main health concern for Philly is the offensive line, especially center Cam Jurgens, who left last week’s game with a knee injury and is expected to miss this game. Left guard Landon Dickerson missed the previous Giants game but returned last week and is expected to play. However, he has been hampered by multiple injuries all season, so the Eagles’ interior offensive line could struggle against Dexter Lawrence and the Giants’ talented defensive front. Ultimately, I am buying into the Giants’ recent performance and exercising some caution about the Eagles’ apparent resurgence last week. For both of those reasons, I’ll take the Giants with the points as my best bet in this game.Oddsmakers have yet to adjust to Barkley’s slow start to the season. The 2024 rushing champ is off to one of the worst starts to a season of his career, averaging just 52.7 yards per game on 3.3 yards per carry. Barkley himself is not the problem. The Eagles’ offensive line just is not the same dominant unit it was last year, partly because of the aforementioned injuries to Dickerson and Jurgens. The Eagles are just 21st in run blocking win rate this season . Barkley has only eclipsed 80 yards once so far this season, in Week 2 against the Chiefs. That was also the only game in which he went over his rushing prop line. It’s possible that this could change this week against one of the worst run defenses in the league. But I would bet against it.When they lost to the Giants two weeks ago, the Eagles played their worst game in over a year, and the Giants played about as well as they are capable of playing. New York dominated the line of scrimmage, won the turnover battle, and ultimately won the game pretty convincingly. That’s what it took for the Giants to beat the Eagles, plus playing at home on a short week. What are the chances all of that happens again? They’re not zero, but they’re not very good. Despite the recent loss, the Eagles are the better team in just about every area, and they are healthier now than they were two weeks ago. As noted above, it’s been nearly twenty years since the Giants swept the Eagles. New York winning the last game was a surprise. Winning this one would be a much bigger surprise. The Giants rushed for a season-high 172 yards in the last matchup with the Eagles, and they might need to do that again to beat the champs again on the road. Skattebo rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns in that game, and Dart added 58 yards and another score. All of those marks were season highs for the rookies. Besides running the ball well again, the other key for New York is getting pressure on Jalen Hurts. They sacked him three times last time, and might need more than that this time around. Dexter Lawrence is arguably the most dominant interior pass rusher in the league, and he will likely be matched up with Eagles backup center Brett Toth for most of the game. That is a potentially game-changing advantage for the Giants.BetMGM bonus code NJMGM: Win $10 World Series or CFB bet, get $150 bonus in NJ, MI, PA and WVUFC 321 Aspinall vs. Gane predictions, picks and best bets for Middle East heavyweight clash If you or a loved one has questions or needs to talk to a professional about gambling, call 1-800-GAMBLER or visit If you purchase a product or register for an account through a link on our site, we may receive compensation.and agree that your clicks, interactions, and personal information may be collected, recorded, and/or stored by us and social media and other third-party partners in accordance with our
