Tyrod Taylor got hurt Sunday.
That was the word from coach Brian Daboll, who updated reporters on Taylor’s condition during his day-after-game media session.
Jones was ineligible to play against the Jets, because the Giants’ medical staff on Friday had already ruled him out, as part of the final injury report. Taylor started for Jones the past three weeks, with DeVito as the No. 2 quarterback in each of those games — a loss at the Bills, a win over the Commanders, and a loss to the Jets. DeVito didn’t have to play in the first two of those games. Then he was forced into action against the Jets.
