The Giants are down two of their top players for Thursday’s tough road game.
Veteran Matt Breida is expected to start in place of Barkley, with third-year back Gary Brightwell and rookie Eric Gray also in line to get some action.
Second-year Josh Ezeudu made his first NFL start last week at left tackle and is expected to do so again, in place of Thomas. Ben Bredeson, the starting left guard, was also ruled out for the game with the 49ers, as he remains in the concussion protocol. Mark Glowinski, benched last week at right guard in favor of Marcus McKethan was reinstated into the lineup last week when Bredeson went out and will likely start at left guard.Wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson and inside linebacker Micah McFadden are listed as questionable.
