The Seattle Mariners are acquiring catcher Curt Casali from the San Francisco Giants for Michael Stryffeler, according to sources familiar with the situation.A native of Walnut Creek, Casali joined the Giants for the 2021 season after several seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays and Cincinnati Reds. In the 2022 season, Casali played 41 games for San Francisco before being placed on the injured list last month after suffering an oblique strain.
