Giants QB Daniel Jones threw an absurd pick-six and fans weren't happy.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones made his preseason debut against the Houston Texans and things haven't quite gone his way. He threw an absurd interception that resulted in a pick-six for Houston.Fans weren't happy with the decision he made, throwing the ball while in his own endzone off his foot.Jones then followed that horrible pick-six by throwing another interception. It's safe to say that his 2024 season debut hasn't gone the way that anyone would have hoped.
After a strong 2022 year, New York awarded the signal-caller with a four-year deal that is worth $160 million. It was a curious decision by the Giants considering that Jones had only put together one strong NFL season. But having a franchise-level quarterback remains the most important part of fielding a winning team and Jones had just taken New York to the postseason.Entering this year, Jones was looking forward to putting his injured season behind him.
