The team hired Houston Astros assistant general manager Pete Putila as the club's new general manager, president of baseball operations Farhan Zaidi announced Monday night.
Leaked video shows Jordan Poole and Draymond Green altercation Green and Poole verbally sparred during a road game last season Putila spent 12 seasons with the Astros and this year was his third as the assistant general manager. He focused on player development, player evaluation and sports medicine and performance.
The Astros' combined regular season record during his three-year tenure was 230-154, the second-best winning percentage of any MLB team since 2020.
