Giants Daniel Jones leaves game against Raiders in second quarter with apparent knee injury

Daniel Jones suffered a knee injury on the final play of the first quarter and left the game after the first play of the second quarter.

On the final play of the first quarter, Jones was sacked by the Raiders’ Maxx Crosby and was very slow to get up after the play. On the first play of the second quarter, however, Jones took the snap from center and immediately fell to the ground. He was replaced by Tommy DeVito with 14:44 remaining in the first half and the Giants trailing 7-0.Against the Jets, the Giants played third-string quarterback Tommy DeVito for the final two and a half quarters, after replacement starter Tyrod Taylor hurt his rib cage and wound up in the hospital.
