With that in mind, it should come as no surprise that AG—a name that’s also known for elevating the everyday—would want to hold hands. The star’s personal brand of polished-yet-relaxed comes through in a few surprising details as well. A dropped-shoulder denim jacket, for example, has been nipped-in to accentuate hourglass curves. “I’ve always wanted a denim jacket that has a tiny bit of a waist, so we played with that,” she says, showing off a dart at the jacket’s back. “It’s one of my favorite pieces.”as “fashion-forward” she’s also quick to note that the mix is meant to be versatile—“everything also works well together.
Well, that, and one other thing: being able to add the title of creative director to her ever-growing list of multi-hyphenates. “I’ve been on so many photoshoots and have had the absolute pleasure of walking the shows and seeing those collections be developed, so it just feels really special to be able to collaborate,” she laughs. “I love control, so it’s nice to have some.”
