NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony attended Giorgio Armani's spring 2025 New York City runway show Thursday night. See photos and details here.
Thursday night at the Park Avenue Armory. Anthony, who helms his own fashion label called StayMe7O, chose what he described as a casual, yet timeless look for the fashion show.
“It’s just me,” Anthony told WWD as he was getting ready for the runway show. “It’s how I express myself and how I brand myself and kind of just who I am. It’s that same ‘Melo’ moniker of just self-expressing and feeling good about yourself and kind of understanding what’s your lane and having fun in that lane. Tonight, you will see that expression.” Anthony attended the runway show wearing a black velvet bomber jacket with a subtle sparkle detail paired with a matching black shirt and trousers.
“That was just an opportunity for us to kind of align ourselves and align the message with the rest of the world,” he said about the collection. “What better way to do that than with the Paris Olympics? So, the response was amazing.” He said the brand will be launching several collections and collaborations in the next few months, including a holiday collection. The brand has resonated with his fans because it’s a representation of himself and his style, he said.
“It’s me right?” he said. “It’s not a brand that was made up. It’s not a brand that you had to go out there and find it. It’s who I am, it’s my expression, it’s my personality, it’s my mindset and it’s StayMe7O.
