This popular candy and fudge shop is run by the Willy Wonka of San Francisco.
SAN FRANCISCO -- The sweet smell of caramel entices visitors to step inside San Francisco's Z. Cioccolato, a candy and fudge wonderland run by the Willy Wonka of North Beach, aka Mike Zwiefelhofer.
Mission accomplished. With over 300 types of candy, adults can channel their inner child by indulging in popular throwback treats. And of course, take home fresh, handcrafted fudge that's sure to be their new favorite. With layers upon layers of peanut butter fudge, Oreo crisp, caramel, marshmallow, and more, the bar can be compared to a cross between peanut butter pie and s'mores. The unique flavor sells out quickly, in addition to the shop's other layered creations, like Chocolate Caramel Brownie, Caramel Cookie Dough, and North Beach Raspberry Cheesecake -- to name a few.
