I am an independent voter who strives to elect the best person for the job regardless of their party affiliation. My congressional district, House District 4, was dramatically altered after the Republican-controlled state Legislature redesigned the district boundaries to increase its stranglehold on Texas voting districts.

This debate gave me just a glimmer of hope that there just might be more men and women out there willing to step up and hold a political office who could restore some degree of faith in our politicians. We have hit rock bottom politically. Let’s start rising up.Here are my pictures of the vice presidential debate. The debate consisted of structure versus substance. The first picture was of evident debate skills used to justify many falsehoods.
