The quarterfinals of the 2024 UEFA European Championships kick off with a matchup of powers, as Spain and Germany get together for a high-profile Friday matchup.

Spain was Euro 2024′s most dominant team in the group stage with a 3-0-0 record, nine points and zero goals allowed in three contests. The Spanish side conceded its first goal of the tournament on an own goal against Georgia, but put together an offensive barrage for a 4-1 victory. Spain held possession in that game for 75.2 percent of the time and unleashed 35 shots to run Georgia off the field.
