'Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Wang Wenbin argued that the CCG's hand-held laser equipment 'does not inflict damage on anything or anyone on the vessel.'On Thursday, PCG spokesman for the West Philippine Sea Commodore Jay Tarriela insisted that the laser was military-grade.'We are not going to lie. Our crew experienced temporary blindness for 10 to 15 seconds,' Tarriela said.
