Nagelsmann has made a fine start to life as Germany manager and the DFB are keen to extend his contract beyond Euro 2024.
Germany might not pick Jurgen Klopp as their coach because they want to keep Julian Nagelsmann for longer. The German Football Federation said they hope to make Nagelsmann's job last more than just until Euro 2024, where they face Scotland in the opening game.
This led to speculation he would want to coach a national team. But Neuendorf's words show that the DFB likes Nagelsmann and doesn't want to change. Neuendorf told ZDF, after Germany beat France 2-0 on Saturday: "It would be absolutely desirable from our side . We're a good team, we get on well, we're in intensive dialogue.", reports the Mirror.
