RESEARCH shows that the typical value of life is considered to be higher in Germany than in the UK when the Government is assessing the cost of the coronavirus outbreak to the economy.
According to guidelines from the National Institute for Care and Health Excellence , one year’s life in Britain is valued at around £20,000 to £30,000.
