Sebuah gereja yang didedikasikan untuk rasul Yakobus Agung di kota San Juan Quechula yang tenggelam di Chiapas, Mexico, kini telah timbul setelah kemarau kuat.Disebabkan gelombang haba dan kemarau yang kuat sebuah gereja Katolik berusia lebih 400 tahun telah timbul di perairan Chiapas, New Mexico.

Namun pada tahun 1966, akibat banjir dan pembinaan empangan hidroelektrik Nezahualcóyotl, telah menenggelamkan gereja tersebut.
