Summary A woman with a dangerous past makes a dysfunctional family all the more chaotic in Apples Never Fall. The upcoming Peacock mystery show serves as an adaptation of the 2021 novel of the same name by Liane Moriarty.

Savannah Was "Very Different" Than Any Other Role Flood Has Played Screen Rant: I'm about four episodes in to Apples Never Fall, and I am just engrossed by it so far. What about your character in particular really intrigued you to join the project? Georgia Flood: Definitely going back to her childhood, and talking with Melanie and Liane. We'd go back to the board and discuss what it is about her that happened to her in her life that makes her who she is as an adult. It's like a core wound, or an event. And then, I would paint in her backstory and figure out what kind of person that I also want to make her, along with everyone else's idea of her.

That was always talked about. "What's not going to give anything away?" That was always discussed with the individual. And then sometimes not, like, I don't think Sam and I discussed it too much. But everyone was very, extremely helpful though. Everyone was like, "What about this?" And I was like, "Oh my gosh, that's a gem.

So given that you had so much time with her, what did you both do to sort of break that ice and get to know each other and become friends with one another, or find that friendly rapport that we see on screen? Georgia Flood: It happened many times, too many times. Especially with Annette, she's very funny, and she would crack me up so much. I would definitely have to hold my tongue, but sometimes, it can make you feel at ease, too, letting that nervous energy go. Or at least for me, so it wasn't a bad thing.
