Much was made of the resounding pro-abortion rights victory in Ohio on Tuesday by people on both sides of the political aisle. Many saw it as proof that most people support the legality of ending the lives of children in the womb. Given the results of the election, it’s hard to argue otherwise. However, just because it is hard to argue, it doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be argued. It also doesn't mean pro-life politics should be abandoned by conservative politicians.
Consider the pro-abortion rights donations in Ohio. One group that supports abortion access, Ohioans United for Reproductive Rights, raised over $28 million in contributions, according to reports. Of that total, $3.5 million was a contribution from Soros’s Open Society Policy Center. According to reports, it was the “single largest contribution” to the group.
