All of this occurred as Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson heaved an unsuccessful last-second Hail Mary toward the end zone with Pittsburgh down 24-19 and just six seconds left on the clock. As the two teams shook hands after the loss, Pickens and Newsome could still be seen going at it right near the stands.
“There you got Pickens upset about something,” broadcaster Al Michaels said somewhat dismissively on the air. Cleveland let a 12-point lead disappear in the fourth quarter and was trailing by one with a little more than three minutes left in the game before regaining the lead for good.
