A hero Bernese mountain dog recently went viral on social media after saving his little sister from a nasty coyote attack.In a post shared to TikTok in late February by user @bunsenbernerbmd, the pup, Bunsen, can be seen enjoying his owner's praise, as his golden retriever sister, Beaker, sits by him grateful for his brave act of courage.'Our little golden was being chased by a coyote. she would have died. our gentle giant wasn't so gentle that day.
'Bunsen without pausing protected her and ran it off, perhaps hurting it and came trotting back like nothing happened,' @bunsenbernerbmd said.According to the Humane Society of the United States, although coyote attacks on humans are rare they may sometimes attack dogs, that's why if you live in an area where coyotes are present, they suggest keeping your dog on a leash no longer than 6 feet so the coyotes know your pet is not unattended.
