Dua sindiket dadah ditumpaskan Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Narkotik Johor susulan 15 serbuan di JohorBahru, SeriAlam, KotaTinggi dan Pontian

Ketua Polis Johor, Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay berkata, sindiket pertama dikenali Geng Ah Poh dianggotai 12 individu dan diketuai lelaki Singapura berusia 43 tahun.

"Sindiket ini dianggotai enam individu termasuk isteri kepada ketua sindiket itu. Ketua sindiket itu dipercayai mula pengedaran dadah sejak 2002 dan pernah ditahan enam kali. Ayob Khan berkata, hasil serbuan itu, 18 individu ditahan bersama rampasan dadah, terdiri daripada 11 lelaki tempatan, seorang lelaki warga Singapura dan enam wanita tempatan berusia antara 25 hingga 50 tahun.

"Polis juga menyita 18 akaun bank tempatan milik lapan individu dipercayai daripada hasil kegiatan pengedaran dadah berjumlah RM117,354.12," katanya.
