Even in track-form, Genesis remains focused on an aesthetically pleasing experience.
Known for superb luxury offerings and boundary-pushing designs, Genesis isn't the first company you think of when track-prepped single-seaters, but the Korean manufacturer is making its mark in multiple arenas now. After launching its Gran Berlinetta concept late in 2023, Genesis showed off another track-focused, digitally born racer by the name of the X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept at the Busan International Mobility Show on Wednesday.
Notably, the internal combustion produces about 60 percent of the horsepower available, while the front electric motor provides 670 hp of the 1540 hp on tap. Additionally, the X Gran Racer Vision Gran Turismo Concept goes above and beyond its older sibling, adding 479 hp onto the Gran Berlinetta's 1071 hp.Funneling over 1500 hp through all four wheels presents the challenge of maintaining traction, and Genesis is relying on aerodynamics to keep its rocketing hypercar in line.
