Genesco chief financial officer Cassandra “Sandra” Harris is stepping down from her role, which she’s held since October 2024.
According to the Nashville-based footwear company, Harris will step down on March 6 to pursue other opportunities but will assist with an “orderly transition,” participate in its fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 earnings conference call in early March.
She will continue to support the company as a consultant and principal accounting officer through the filing of the company’s fiscal year 2026 10-K form on March 25, the company noted.said it has initiated an active search for a permanent CFO and is moving “expeditiously” to identify a strategic leader to continue driving shareholder value., Genesco’s chief executive officer, will assume the role of interim CFO. Harris’ experience with VF includes retail, finance, supply chain and information technology leadership, including serving as CFO for direct-to-consumer, global supply chain and shared services. Before VF, she served in progressive financial leadership roles with Wilsonart International, Inc. as group controller and Old Castle Glass as CFO. Earlier in her career she was with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in audit services..
