A GENEROUS homeowner has temporarily given up his house near a hospital - so that NHS nurses can have a place to stay for free.
Jonny Stubbs, 25, vacated his one-bedroom home on the eve of the coronavirus lockdown last weekend. He put out a message on Facebook offering the property to NHS key workers to stay in for free. The home, in Horfield, Bristol, is just a five-minute drive from Southmead Hospital - and despite having just one bedroom, can comfortably house two people, Jonny said.
