With the Fife seat a key electoral battleground on July 4, here's a Daily Record guide for voters on who's who and what's what.

The Daily Record is taking out some time during this busy general election campaign to focus on seats-to-watch in Scotland.

Labour also won the seat in 2017 with Laird. However, the SNP will still fancy their chances with candidate and local councillor Lesley Backhouse after Hanvey’s win in 2019 and Roger Mullin’s victory here for the Nationalists in 2015.Labour’s Ward would need a swing of 3.6 per cent to oust the SNP in Cowdenbeath and Kirkcaldy.

For the first time, it also extends further into west Fife, with places like North Queensferry, Inverkeithing, Crossgates and Hill of Beath represented.
