KUALA LUMPUR: Two brightly-coloured tuk-tuk will not go unnoticed as the Barisan Nasional machinery makes its final push in their campaigning efforts in the Batu parliamentary seat in the 15th General Election (GE15).
Barisan’s candidate Datuk A. Kohilan Pillay was spotted driving the tuk-tuk festooned with party flags around the Batu Muda neighbourhood this morning .
The team will be having walkabouts and meet-and-greets throughout the constituency the last weekend leading up to GE15. Several other Batu hopefuls were also planning to ramp up their campaigning, including Independent candidate Siti Kasim who was set to hold her first ceramah on Monday night. The Batu seat will be a contested among 10 candidates, including Wan Azliana Wan Adnan from Pejuang, Warisan’s Naganathan Pillai , Azhar Yahya , Mohd Zulkifli Abdul Fattah and Independents Tian Chua, Nur Fathiah Syazwana Shaharudin and Too Cheng Huat .
